Electric flight an utopia!

Electric - flight Now there is talk freely and widely about electric flight and that seems to have really come into fashion. But just like everything else right now so electric operation is the solution for aviation and without looking concretely at it energy consumption that exists during a transport with an aircraft. The flight is also associated with a status symbol that blinds
people's real view of energy costs and transport costs.

We can take a very busy line Stockholm - Malmö as an example. Every time the B737-700 refuels approximately 3,000 liters of jet kerosene the density 0.8 and thus the weight 2400 kilos with the energy content 42.8 MJ/kg, which means that the energy consumption is 102,720 MJ for a one-hour flight with 150 passengers 684.8 MJ/Pax or med 534 km 1.28 MJ/km/pax. The B737 weighs 44.7 tonnes and loads 40.4 tonnes of which 150 passengers weigh 15 tonnes. (theoretically left for battery weight approx. 25tones).

1 kWh = 3.6 x 10^6 Joules = 3,600,000 Joules or 3.6 MJ 1 kg of kerosene contains 11.9 kWh A battery with it absolutely latest technology is able to hold 370 Wh/kg. 1 hour flight time required 28,560 kWh or 28,560,000 Wh which corresponds to 76.16 tons of batteries Now was the case that the B737 carried only 40.4 tons minus the weight of passengers in this case, there were about 25 tons left. The batteries would weigh 76.16 tone. The B737 wouldn't even be able to taxi out let alone fly. This is not an option at all!

Summarized and advice to politicians.

Don't build out the load structure that the flight requests "one stupid comment - more cream in the toes". There are noneopportunities to make it work. Instead, make sure to expand
the railway so that all passenger traffic comes over the track so as fast as it goes.

The railway solves the future structure


With a high-speed connection between the major cities can air traffic at Bromma is shut down, but also large parts of the trafficat Arlanda. No expansion of Arlanda will be needed and there only the long-distance foreign traffic remains.

We is faced with building a new efficient infrastructure and which must apply for many years to come. Don't build it wrong, it will punish yourself for too long ahead and if it goes wrong, that's it best way to deindustrialize Sweden.

- the trucks shall be removed from our ways and will only be accepted as local transport between intermodal terminals and the customer.
- everyone cities/communities with over 100,000 inhabitants must have intermodal terminals for passenger and freight traffic. Must be developed for 31 December 2027.
- in addition, it has been decided that short-haul flights < 500 km will be replaced by high-speed trains.

It has also been agreed that if you continue to drive as usual and do not build what the EU has stipulated, the EU can centrally step in and take over infrastructur 
planning in each individual country. Its except exists it inscribed that "poluters pay", which makes that fuel prices will see seriously large cost increases
which will be felt by Swedish business.​
